Banks County Board of Education Recognizes Athletes

Several athletes were given special recognition during the recent board of education meeting. These athletes demonstrated outstanding performance in a Banks County Olympics program last May. The board expressed their pride in the athletes' abilities and praised their dedication to their sport. The athletes were presented with certificates of achievement.

Banks County Schools Announce Teachers of the Year and Staff Person of the Year

The Banks County School system is thrilled to reveal the outstanding educators selected as the Teacher of the Year and Classified Person of the Year at each school. These teachers and staff members have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and passion for education, significantly impacting our students' lives.

It is the time of year when we need our AMAZING parents and community volunteers for our Annual Farm Day on September 29th. Anyone with a related “Agricultural” or “Farm” career, hobby, or interest, or if you have farm equipment, machinery, products, or animals you would like to bring to demonstrate or share with our students, it would be greatly welcomed. Title 1 Meeting

Banks County Primary School Hosts Annual Title 1 Parent and Engagement Meeting

The school had over 100 parents, students, and teachers at the annual event.

Banks County Primary School Governance Meeting

Banks County Primary School will host its first Governance Meeting of 2023-2024 on September 12th.

Governance Elections for Banks County Primary and Banks County High School

Banks County Primary School and Banks County High School are currently accepting nominations for a parent representative to serve on the school-based governance team. Applications will be accepted for a two-week period beginning August 7th, 2023.

BCPS Parent Night

Banks County Primary School Parent Night on August 29th

We are so excited for our first Parent Night of the Year! Join us on August 29th at 6:00 for the Annual Title 1 Parent and Engagement Meeting, followed by teacher presentations.

Summer 2023 P-EBT Benefits

The Georgia Department of Human Services's Division of Family & Children Services will issue a one-time P-EBT benefit covering the 2023 summer months for eligible school children. K-12 students who participated in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), including high school students who graduated in May 2023, will receive the one-time $120 benefit issuance in summer 2023.
