Banks County Schools Kick Off Farm to School

Students across Banks County Schools got a sweet start to the school year with fresh “Oh Henry” peaches grown locally by Jaemor Farms. The special treat was part of the district’s ongoing Farm to School initiative, which connects students to Georgia-grown produce while supporting local agriculture.

Welcome Back Banks County Primary School!

Welcome back to Banks County Primary School for the 2025-2026 school year! We are thrilled to make this year, the best year ever! Our teachers and staff work very hard to develop lessons aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence that help our kids learn, and have fun while they are learning! Distraction Free Learning

In response to new state legislation (HB 340) and the negative impact cell phones and other personal electronic devices have on student learning, Banks County Board of Education is establishing a policy prohibiting the use of all personal electronic devices by students in grades K-12 from the first bell at the start of school each morning to the last dismissal bell at the end of the school day.

New Access Procedures for Banks County Primary and Banks County Elementary

In a continued effort to enhance safety and security for students and staff, Banks County Schools will be implementing new access procedures at Banks County Primary School and Banks County Elementary School beginning this school year.

Banks County Primary School Student Handbook 2025-2026

Important Update: Annual Student Record Update Temporarily Paused

Banks County Schools is currently pausing the Annual Student Record Update process for the 2025–2026 school year. This temporary pause is necessary to allow time for updates to all student handbooks in order to reflect recent changes to state laws.
