Banks County Primary School September Newsletter

Fall is in the air, and we are excited for cooler days that are just around the
corner! We have amazing teachers who are doing a fantastic job of reaching
and teaching every student at BCPS! Thank you for attending our recent
Parent night, and we look forward to hosting the next parent night very soon!

Title 1 Meeting

Banks County Primary School Hosts Annual Title 1 Parent and Engagement Meeting

The school had over 100 parents, students, and teachers at the annual event.

Banks County Primary School Governance Meeting

Banks County Primary School will host its first Governance Meeting of 2023-2024 on September 12th.

Governance Elections for Banks County Primary and Banks County High School

Banks County Primary School and Banks County High School are currently accepting nominations for a parent representative to serve on the school-based governance team. Applications will be accepted for a two-week period beginning August 7th, 2023.

BCPS Parent Night

Banks County Primary School Parent Night on August 29th

We are so excited for our first Parent Night of the Year! Join us on August 29th at 6:00 for the Annual Title 1 Parent and Engagement Meeting, followed by teacher presentations.

Summer 2023 P-EBT Benefits

The Georgia Department of Human Services's Division of Family & Children Services will issue a one-time P-EBT benefit covering the 2023 summer months for eligible school children. K-12 students who participated in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), including high school students who graduated in May 2023, will receive the one-time $120 benefit issuance in summer 2023. Annual Title 1 Parent and Family Engagement Meetings

Our goal at Banks County School System is to help your child succeed academically. Parents and families are invited to partner with us to help your child reach their academic potential. Please join us for our upcoming Title I Annual Meeting to learn how each school’s Title I program supports students’ academic achievement. We will also discuss ways parents and families can assist their children in helping them improve academically.

THE BANKS COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM WILL HOLD GOVERNANCE MEETINGS AT EACH SCHOOL ON THE FOLLOWING DATES FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR AT 6:00 PM.
