Administration Team

Dr. Michael Boyle was named as Banks County Primary School principal in 2022. He served as Banks County Middle School principal for four years before leading Banks County Primary. He served seven years at East Hall Middle School as a 6th and 8th-grade Language Arts, Math, and Science teacher. He also served at Jones Elementary School for five years and Chicopee Woods for three years. 

 

He has been married to his wife, Willene Parson Boyle, for twenty-nine years. He has four sons who were all graduates of Banks County Schools. One of his favorite things to do is travel. 

Roberts has been a dedicated educator for 19 years, serving in various capacities, including classroom teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum specialist, all within Banks County Schools. She has taught 1st and 5th grades. Her innovative approach to education has earned her numerous accolades and recognition within the academic community.

Roberts holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood from the University of North Georgia, a Master's Degree in Early Childhood, and a Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning from Piedmont University. She also earned a Tier 1 Leadership endorsement from UNG. In addition, she is a certified instructional coach and has participated in numerous professional development programs focused on leadership and school improvement.

 

Roberts is a former Banks County graduate, having graduated in 1996. Additionally, her children, Morgan, Marybeth, and Mathew, are past graduates of Banks County Schools. Her husband, Shane, also has strong ties to the community, having served as a former Banks County Board of Education member.
