Through this program, Banks County Schools partners with area farms to bring seasonal fruits and vegetables directly to school cafeterias. Throughout the year, students will enjoy a variety of fresh produce and learn about the benefits of eating locally grown food.
“Farm to School is about more than just healthy eating—it’s about showing students where their food comes from and why it matters to support farmers in our community,” said Nicole Blalock, School Food and Nutrition Director. “We are grateful for our partnership with Jaemor Farms and look forward to serving more Georgia-grown favorites this year.”
Banks County Schools are proud to offer free lunch and breakfast to all students this year. For questions or concerns, please reach out to School Food and Nutrition.
